Milken Institute School of Public Health
The George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health is dedicated to educating the next generation of public health leaders, policymakers, practitioners, scientists, advocates and managers.
Established in July 1997, Milken is the only school of public health in the nation’s capital. Students from almost every US state and countries around the world pursue undergraduate, graduate and doctoral-level degrees in public health.
Milken has a great view of the Washington Circle and is easily accessible with a Capital Bikeshare right at the front door!

The mission of the Milken Institute School of Public Health is to advance population health, wellbeing, and social justice locally, nationally, and globally. Milken faculty, staff, and students apply public health knowledge to enhance policy, practice, and management; conduct rigorous, basic, applied, and translational research; and educate the next generation of public health leaders, policy makers, practitioners, scientists, advocates, and managers.
