Also, the Scotsman's Corner is located here. This is where you'll purchase way too much PC swag for you and your family.

P.O.D. Market

P.O.D. Market combines the corner store with the style of a modern market, featuring grab ‘n go dining options for breakfast, lunch or any time of day, including: freshly-prepared breakfast sandwiches, burritos, wraps, sushi and salads, as well as fresh produce, bakery and coffee selections and traditional essentials found in a convenience store.

Starbucks offers high-quality coffees, hand-crafted espresso beverages, teas, smoothies as well as a variety of pastries, pre-packaged snacks, and breakfast sandwiches. A popular on-campus destination at all times of the day.

⭐ Religious Life & Community Engagement

PC’s religious organizations and Christian living community bring together leaders from each of the campus ministries to cultivate a strong fellowship between various areas of the PC campus.

Catholic Student Association

The Catholic Student Association (CSA) has weekly meetings where they discuss scripture readings and learn about the teachings of the Church, growing in understanding of the basics of the faith. Mass and Confession are offered on campus Sunday evenings at 5 p.m. in Wyatt Chapel with a visiting priest. Other fellowship activities are sometimes held as well.

CSA is in the process of getting involved in community service work, possibly through the local Catholic parish in Joanna and Laurens. The group also participates in the statewide Catholic college student retreats, which take place each semester.

Campus Outreach

Campus Outreach Greenville is an inter-denominational ministry located on college campuses in upper South Carolina and Western North Carolina. The ministry is under the supervision of Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church in Greenville, SC, and has the mission of “Glorifying God by Building Laborers on the Campus for the World.” Our aim is to see students know and walk with Jesus Christ and grow in having a heart for others.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) is an organization welcoming athletes and non-athletes alike, united in our passion for worshiping God, supporting each other in a Christian community, and sharing Christ’s love on campus. FCA is led by students seeking to serve you in any way possible. No matter who you are, we would love to have you attend one of our weekly meetings which are held at 8 p.m. on Wednesdays in MSY with student-led worship, guest speakers, and time to get to know one another better.

UKirk

UKirk is a Presbyterian-ish Religious Life Organization at PC that gathers together for fellowship, Christian formation, and service. UKirk welcomes students of all denominational groups and seeks to be very intentional about creating an environment that promotes spiritual growth individually and communally. We work to create a comfortable atmosphere that encourages diplomatic discussion in order to learn more about others as well as ourselves.

Rethink Fellowship

Rethink Fellowship is a small college group ministry at Broad Street United Methodist Church in Clinton, SC. In partnership with Broad Street United Methodist Church, we work to further the development of disciples of Christ in fellowship, prayer, and Scripture on the campus of Presbyterian College and in the greater Clinton community.

Bluefish

Bluefish are students serving as ministers for the campus community while developing their individual gifts. One of the ways Bluefish serves is an open forum called “Fishbowl” where students can discuss topics and their opinions in a safe space.

Bluefish also works with Peer Mentors and RA’s to ensure the well-being of the students on campus through intentional ministry and care. One of these ways will be through an all-campus worship event every semester put together through the help of Bluefish.

Celtic Cross

Celtic Cross was created in 1995 and is considered a model for church leadership development programs. It is designed to challenge students to think theologically about vocation and to consider their call to professional or lay leadership in the church or in the community. Celtic Cross meets monthly for dinner and a workshop lead by an expert in their field. Celtic Cross students plan and lead the annual Youth Day, and participate in a spring retreat.

Participants in Celtic Cross are also are encouraged to participate in summer work, conferences, spring break/May trips, as well as on-campus activities and international study. Additional opportunities are available to those who volunteer to be part of special teams, which provide leadership for presbytery and congregational events/retreats. Students who participate actively in Celtic Cross can be sponsored to attend one national church conference per year.

Career readiness is our focus. Our team assists students in exploring majors and careers and connects them to internships and employers to gain experience. We partner with local, regional and national employers and alumni to find meaningful internships and career opportunities. It’s never too early – or too late – to visit us and plan your future! Everyone has a unique path, and our office has lots of resources to offer you to help you identify some next steps in your own path to find the perfect major or potential career fit. The Career Action Plan is a cycle that can help you recognize where you are at on your path to achieving your goals and what you can do to help move you forward.

Staff are certified to use the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and Strong Interest Inventory assessment tools to discover links between personality/interests and your career path or selection of a major.

Graduate School Preparation

There are many reasons to consider pursuing advanced education after finishing your undergraduate degree. It may be a requirement of a profession such as medicine or clinical psychology or it may advance your career and increase your marketability.

Before committing to graduate school, it’s recommended that you talk to Career Development staff and professors. Graduate programs differ significantly from undergraduate programs in that they aim for specificity rather than broad application. So it is imperative that you find programs that closely match your goals and interests.

Job & Internship Search

Starting a successful job search, whether it is for an internship or full-time employment, requires many of the same strategies to find an opportunity that fits your needs, talents, and interests.

Visit our office wherever you are in the process to talk to our staff and use our resources. Many job openings may be discovered on job boards like the Tartan Network and at in-person career events. However, more jobs are found by tapping into the “hidden job market.” Approximately 80% of open jobs are found through ongoing networking connections and by directly approaching organizations with no posted openings.

PC offers a variety of on-campus fitness options to meet your needs. On the second and third floors of Springs Student Center you'll find spaces devoted to cardio, fitness class, and weightlifting.
