Lab Areas and Horse Therapies

Students and horses can enjoy a climate controlled cross tie and lab area throughout the academic year. Hands on learning takes place throughout the equine curriculum.

⭐ About the Lab Areas

The grooming and wash stalls areas allow for 8 horses to be out of their stalls at a time. Otterbein’s school horses are performance horses. Their care, soundness and well-being are of the utmost importance. Through the use of a multitude of different alternative therapies, Otterbein’s school horses receive the best care.

· Theraplate - Otterbein has two different theraplate machines
· Magnawave - The magnawave therapies utilized PEMF technology to help horse preform at their best

· Beamer Blanket
