Bowers College of Computing and Information Science. ⭐ Bowers CIS

The Cornell Ann S. Bowers College of Computing and Information Science (Cornell Bowers CIS) is a research and educational hub for computer science, information science, and statistics and data science — three critical fields that power today’s global information economy. Demonstrating the power of cross-campus collaboration, undergraduate majors in Bowers CIS are offered through Cornell Engineering, Arts and Sciences and Cornell CALS.

The college demonstrates a unique vision and commitment to developing state-of-the-art technologies and studying the ethical, human and societal impact of these technologies.

Opening in spring 2025, a new Bowers CIS building will provide an additional 135,000 square feet of space for robotics, maker labs and active learning opportunities that will both support faculty research and provide hands-on experience for students.
