Ammons Hall
Welcome to CSU and Ammons Hall! Ammons Hall is the home of our Office of Admissions, although it has had several uses throughout CSU’s history including a women's dormitory, a dance studio, and a recreation center. There actually used to be a pool located in the building!

⭐ Ammons Hall
Ammons Hall is home to the Office of Admissions. Our Admissions Counselors are here to support First Year/Freshmen and Transfer Student applicants.
First Year/Freshmen Admissions
You will be a freshman if you are applying directly from high school, and you’ve never attended college, or all your college credits were earned prior to high school graduation (or equivalent). Any credits earned before completing high school will be evaluated for transfer, but will not impact your application status.
Your application and supporting documents tell the story of your accomplishments, challenges, goals, and passions. We review what you’ve submitted fully and thoughtfully as part of understanding your potential for academic success and anticipating what you’ll contribute to our community.
For full details about when and how to apply, please visit our website.
Transfer Admissions
If you have taken any college-level coursework at a regionally accredited college after high school graduation (or equivalent), you will be evaluated as a transfer student. If your only college coursework was taken while concurrently enrolled in high school (prior to graduation), you will be evaluated for freshman/first-year admission.
Each year we search for students with diverse backgrounds, skills and perspectives to challenge and support each other on our campus. And that doesn’t mean just glancing at a GPA and clicking a button.
We look at each application fully. Our biggest goal is to ensure your academic success, and we do that by seeing your application as a window into your life. The results of our review process and of the quality of our education speak for themselves, and we hope we can count you among the thousands that will do their best to be part of our community this year.

Financial Aid
Finding your financial fit is an important part of choosing the right university, and one of the most important aspects of your financial fit is aid. We recommend pursuing as many types of funding as possible including grants, scholarships, loans, work study, and student employment to help offset the investment of college.
